THE PROGRAM:

Climb to the Regina Margherita Hut, the highest mountain lodge and astronomical observatory in Europe at 4,554 m.
Located on Punta Gnifetti in the Monte Rosa massif, this two-day ascent combines adventure, history, and breathtaking alpine scenery.
The Regina Margherita Hut climb is perfect for those who want to experience high-altitude mountaineering without extreme technical difficulty.

Starting from Gressoney-La-Trinité, you’ll reach Punta Indren by lift and hike to Capanna Gnifetti or Città di Mantova Hut for the night.
The following morning, you’ll ascend the Lys Glacier, passing the Vincent Pyramid, Balmenhorn, and Parrotspitze, before the final section to the iconic Regina Margherita Hut (4,554 m).
From the summit, admire an incredible panorama over Switzerland and Italy while standing at one of the highest points in the Alps.

Our certified UIAGM/IFMGA Mountain Guides ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, suitable for motivated beginners or intermediate alpinists.
This adventure offers an ideal introduction to high-altitude climbing and a memorable overnight in the most elevated refuge in Europe.

If you have a LITTLE or DON’T have ANY previous experience in mountaineering and you have never been on a glacier before, the 1-day “TRAINING ON MONT BLANC GLACIER” is the best choice for training and learning the basic techniques to tackle the first 4.000 m.
