PROGRAM
A fascinating realm of glaciers and snow, Grand Paradiso is certainly one of the best easy climbs of the Alps: especially suited to all wildlife lovers!
The Gran Paradiso Normal Route is considered the perfect climb for those who have a minimum of experience and dream of conquering their first 4000 metre. During the ascent, we will stay one night at Chabod Hut, tasting good local food and resting up for the following day.
All inclusive formula of Gran Paradiso includes the Guide assistance, refuge accommodation with dinner and breakfast and the loan of common safety material.

Difference in altitude: 1,300 m
Ascent/Descent time: 10-11 hours
The Normal Route from the Chabod Hut (2,710 m) begins on the right, following a moraine ridge up to the Laveciau Glacier (3,200m). At the distinctive “Schiena d’Asino” (Donkey’s Back) we take a short break, then ascend the col of the Becca di Moncorvé and continue towards the bergschrund. A brief but demanding final ridge is all that separates us from the statue-clad summit.
