THE PROGRAM:

A fascinating realm of glaciers and snow, Grand Paradiso is certainly one of the best easy climbs of the Alps: especially suited to all wildlife lovers! The Gran Paradiso Normal Route is considered the perfect climb for those who have a minimum of experience and dream of conquering their first 4000 metres. During the ascent, we will stay one night at Chabod Hut, tasting good local food and resting up for the following day.

Gran Paradiso’s all-inclusive program

Our program is designed to give you the best possible service not only while climbing Gran Paradiso, but also while preparing for the trip. Thanks to the all inclusive formula we will take care of all the details of the trip, that includes the reservation at the Chabod hut with half board and packed lunch and the hiring of personal equipment, such as harness, ice axes, crampons and helmet. Also, you can reserve your Gran Paradiso ascent privately or joining a group, you can check the departure dates on this page.

How to approach the Gran Paradiso ascent

Although the Gran Paradiso climb is considered one of the easiest in the Alps, it should still not be underestimated, and good preparation is essential. First of all, given the high effort and many hours of walking, good physical fitness and endurance level is necessary. Also, a basic amount of mountaineering experience is require, especially in glacier progression and using crampons and ice axes. If you have never done anything like this, we recommend a preparatory day with hiking on the Mont Blanc glacier, or even better a mountaineering tour for beginner around Mont Blanc.

The 1-day “TRAINING ON MONT BLANC GLACIER” is the best choice for training and learning the basic techniques to tackle the first 4.000 m.

Ready to go on the Gran Paradiso climb?

If the Gran Paradiso ascent is one  of your mountain dream, please feel free to contact us by submitting the form on this page. We will contact you to answer any questions and to plan the details of your trip.
