Couloirmania ep.2 ASCENT DAY BY DAY

Meeting point: meeting at the lifts for checking the equipment and short briefing.

Departure from Courmayeur with the famous Skyway to Punta Helbronner (3,466 m) or from Chamonix with the Aiguille du Midi cable car (3,842 m).
Once hopped off the lifts, we will reach the Torino hut (3,375 m) or Cosmiques hut (3,613 m) for dinner and overnight stay.

To reach the chosen couloir we will have an early start. At the base of the couloir we will get ready for an extremely fulfilling climb on ice and rock. To go down, we will take the same route we used to go up, equipped with anchors. Then, we will put on the skis to reach the lifts.
