THE PROGRAM:

During the course we will be staying in one of the huts in the Valley: Elena Hut or Dalmazzi Hut in Val Ferret; Crête Séche Hut in Valpelline.
Over the three day course we will cover the following topics:

  • climbing progression: on easy slab, climbing both up and downhill, movements you need to know, use of climbing shoes, locating the route
  • consolidation of safety techniques for multi-pitch routes and correct execution of rappelling
  • overview of training programs

  • liability insurance

  • research and rescue insurance with UVGAM coverage (recommended): €5 per person for 3 days

Climbing course – Advanced module ASCENT DAY BY DAY

Meeting point: meeting in a suitable location for equipment check and short briefing.

Transfer to the chosen location where we will put into practice climbing techniques, gradually honing our skills.

We will climb a multi-pitch route, focusing on the correct climbing techniques to ensure the safety of the rope team.
We will make the first attempts at abseiling.

We will climb another multi-pitch route, practising all the techniques we learned.

During the course, you will get an overview of training techniques.
