The advanced trad climbing course is for those who want to improve their skills with this style of climbing.

PROGRAM

This advanced course is designed for those who already have a good experience with crag climbing, and want to master advanced trad techniques, to better tackle any of the great classic ascents. The course aims to help you improve your climbing techniques on multi-pitch routes while placing your own protection as you climb.
Jamming, learning how to make a tape glove, using and becoming familiar with traditional protection – nuts, tricams and friends – learning about rest steps: all you need to know to have fun and climb safely magnificent clefts or granite walls.

We’ll cover issues related to safety and protection. You will be able to practise the proper use of friends, tricams and nuts and you will also learn advanced jamming techniques.

RATES

300 € fee per person with 4 participants
240 € fee per person with 5 participants
220 € fee per person with 6 participants
The rate includes
  • the assistance of a UIAGM certified Mountain Guide
  • liability insurance
  • loan of shared safety material

The rate does not include
  • research and rescue insurance with UVGAM coverage (recommended): €5 per person for 3 days
  • the Mountain Guide’s expenses (transfers, meals and accommodation) to be covered by participants
  • transfers, meals and accommodation
  • the hiring of any personal equipment (harness and helmet): €10 per person while supplies last
  • anything that is not mentioned under "The rate includes"

  • It is crucial that participants follow all instructions provided by the mountain guides before and during the activities, and that they accept any changes made to the programme in order to guarantee their safety.
  • Fees for lift facilities, transfers and mountain lodges are subject to changes established and applied by the respective owners without any liability attributable to PEAKSHUNTER Mountain Guides.
  • The rates listed in the “The rate does not include” section are to be considered merely indicative and are therefore subject to changes.
