THE PROGRAM:

Do you dream of exploring breathtaking mountain landscapes away from well-trodden paths? Then our SAFETY ACADEMY MOUNTAINEERING Basic course is the perfect opportunity! The aim of this course is to teach you the elementary climbing techniques and ways to travel that you’ll need for your alpine adventure. Starting with the understanding of alpine dangers, you will learn how to identify the possible risks early and react to them effectively. We place particular emphasis on the selection and safe use of your equipment, including important knot techniques to help you in a wide range of situations.

We will fine-tune your walking technique in difficult terrain so you can move independently in the mountains. Our training course also focuses on how to tread and walk on pathless terrain and walk on firn fields. You’ll gain insight into the basics of outdoor rock climbing and learn how to overcome short climbing passages when wearing mountaineering boots. The course is rounded off with belaying techniques for challenging passages on the rock face. Our SAFETY ACADEMY training courses provide the ideal basis for ensuring you have no problem independently conducting alpine tours and walking along paths secured with wire rope.
