THE PROGRAM:

The Aiguilles des Marbrées rise between Col du Géant and Col de Rochefort, offering a unique alpine mountaineering experience. This climb includes two peaks, north and south, connected by a jagged ridge of snow and rocks above the Géant Glacier.
The northern summit of Aiguilles des Marbrées is a fun, accessible ascent, perfect for beginners discovering high-altitude mountaineering. During the climb, admire Mont Blanc, Dent du Géant and the Aiguilles de Chamonix, in one of the Alps’ most scenic settings.
Thanks to the Skyway cable car from Courmayeur, access is simple, making the Aiguilles des Marbrées guided climb possible in just one day.

Aiguilles des Marbrées ASCENT DAY BY DAY

Difference in altitude: 320 m
Time ascent/descent: 4-6 hours
Meeting point: meeting at 8:00 at Skyway terminus for equipment check and a short briefing.

Take the Skyway cable car from Courmayeur to Pointe Helbronner and begin your Aiguilles des Marbrées climb with crampons. Then, head towards Dent du Géant and Col du Rochefort, before ascending the jagged ridge to the 3,541 m summit.
From the top of the Aiguilles des Marbrées, admire Mont Blanc, Dent du Géant and surrounding Alpine peaks in stunning views.
Afterwards, continue the traverse along the southern ridge, crossing snowy crests and short climbing passages before rejoining the glacier.
Finally, complete your Aiguilles des Marbrées ascent at Torino Hut, celebrate with local food, and enjoy an unforgettable alpine atmosphere.
