My name is Elis Martis, I was born in Magenta, but it was the Aosta Valley, where I moved when I was five, that truly shaped my spirit. From a young age, nature has always been my home, refuge, and passion. Whether riding my mountain bike or hiking the mountain trails alone, I felt a deep connection to freedom and adventure.
My passion for mountaineering grew slowly, step by step. It started with simple hikes to huts and lakes, gradually evolving into more challenging and rewarding climbs. Every summit I reached was a step towards greater self-awareness, with each view providing a profound, unforgettable emotion. Seeing the world from the top, knowing I got there with my own strength, is an experience that never fails to inspire me.

Live the adventure and share the experience is my motto, a concept I strive to impart through every excursion and activity I organize. Every client I guide becomes part of a journey that goes beyond simply climbing a mountain: it is a path that leads to self-discovery, challenging personal limits, and living a unique, unforgettable adventure.
I am also the father of two twins, Gaia and Samuel, and my wish is to pass on to them the same love for the mountains and the beauty of nature that has guided my life from the beginning.
In 2015, after passing the exam to become a certified Alpine Guide, I founded Peakshunter Mountain Guides, a dream that began in 2012 as a simple blog dedicated to my first mountaineering trips. Thanks to the support of friends and colleagues, that dream grew into a solid reality a team of certified Alpine Guides who share a common vision: to live and help others live the mountain in its most authentic form.
If you’re looking to experience an adventure in the mountains, whether you’re an experienced hiker or a beginner, Peakshunter is here to guide you on your journey, making it unique and unforgettable. Discover our mountaineering excursions, mountain tours, and outdoor experiences: every step with us is a step toward freedom.
