Discover the ski touring program to Lofoten islands, in Norway, where the colors of the sky meet the snow-capped mountains until they dive into the sea.
Norway ski touring trip to the Lofoten Islands is a wonderful experience between fjords and unforgettable landscapes. The Lofoten Islands, historically associated with fishing, have a unique morphology, with low mountains (between 600 and 1,200 meters), ending in sheer cliffs overlooking the sea.
Despite their not so considerable height, the mountains in Lofoten Islands are nonetheless superb. Every day you can choose a different itinerary, start skinning up right at sea level. There are endless opportunities for all levels. Easy tours to enjoy the beauty of the landscape, or more engaging steep and funny descents. A perfect experience to make happy even the most discerning freerider!
During our 8-days ski tour, we will stay overnight in the characteristic “rorbuer” (oarsman’s hut), typical shelters used by Norwegian fishermen. These little houses, full equipped and very comfortable, are dotted all round the Lofoten Islands and the Norwegian coast.
