Over three days, our certified mountain guides train you in ascending techniques, safe descents and equipment use in real alpine conditions.
During the ski mountaineering basic course, you’ll learn how to choose terrain wisely, evaluate snow, and carry out simple self-rescue drills.
This beginner ski mountaineering course suits skiers comfortable on resort slopes who are ready to explore back-country terrain.
You’ll ascend modest hills, practice with skins and crampons, and descend under supervision during your ski touring basic module.
