Starting from Punta Helbronner and crossing the Col d’Entrèves, this classic route alternates sections of snow and rock along a sharp, exposed crest, surrounded by breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, Dent du Géant, and the Géant Glacier.
With the support of our certified IFMGA Guides, you’ll safely learn essential alpine techniques, rope handling, and progression skills on mixed terrain.

THE RATE INCLUDES

  • the assistance of a UIAGM/IFMGA certified Mountain Guide

THE RATE DOES NOT INCLUDE

  • research and rescue insurance with UVGAM coverage (recommended): €5 per person for 3 days

Aiguille d’Entrèves ASCENT DAY BY DAY

Difference in altitude: 275 m
Ascent/descent time: 4-6 hours
Meeting point: meeting at 8:00 am at the Skyway cable car station for equipment control and a short briefing.

Take the SkyWay cable car from Courmayeur to Pointe Helbronner and start your Aiguille d’Entrèves climb across the Géant Glacier. From Col Flambeaux, descend briefly, then climb towards Col d’Entrèves at 3,517 m before starting the spectacular ridge ascent.
Remove crampons and continue on the sharp Aiguille d’Entrèves ridge, facing more technical passages before reaching the 3,604 m summit. Follow the airy ridge that gradually becomes easier, then put crampons back on and descend safely across the glacier.
Reach the Torino Hut for a pleasant break, then return comfortably to Courmayeur by SkyWay cable car.
