THE PROGRAM:

You will learn how to assess the snow condition and ski safely. We will also help you to adapt and improve your technique in un-groomed snow. We can choose a different ski resort every day or stay in the same area for all three days, sleeping in the facilities close to the slopes.

Freeriding training course ASCENT DAY BY DAY

Meeting point: meeting at 8:30 at the lifts (Courmayeur) for equipment check and a short briefing.

We will start our adventure by skiing the beautiful and long gullies that plough the slopes of the Val Veny. We will spend part of the morning doing search and rescue drills with the avalanche transceiver, in the dedicated field.

Using skins, we will seek untouched slopes to learn how to tackle a descent in un-groomed snow.

Meeting point: meeting at 8:30 at the lifts (Cervinia) for equipment check and a short briefing.

We will spend the day trying to master the art of off-piste descent on the most beautiful slopes of the resort. We will also learn how to manage the security of the group correctly.
