Toula glacier

The Toula glacier off-piste run is the classic introduction to high-mountain freeriding in the Alps. A technically "easy" descent that will quench.

PROGRAM

The more advanced and insatiable freeriders can combine this run with others in the area (including the iconic Vallée Blanche).

DAY

Meeting point: Skyway cable car ticket office in Entrèves (Courmayeur) for equipment check and a short briefing with the Guide

At the upper cable car station arriving (Pointe Helbronner), we’ll descend slightly passing the Col Flambeaux, then we’ll proceed on level terrain until a long metal ladder leads us down to the Toula Glacier. Now the fun begins: the relatively gentle slopes and the wealth of possible variants ensure the run is always highly enjoyable. Depending on the amount and/or quality of the snow, we’ll either reach the halfway station of the Skyway cable car, then head back up to try another exciting line, or ski all the way down to the bottom of the valley, for an impressive 2,000 metres of total vertical drop!
